How long did the process take from start to finish? Around 3 months
Why was it that you were originally looking to dispose of your timeshare? We don't use it as it's week 50 (December), and we can't use at that time so we have just been banking and never using. The maintenance is now too much for us and we were committed for another 40-50 years. Paying in perpetuity was never explained properly we certainly don't want our children to end up with this problem.
Had you spoken to your resort about cancelling your membership before dealing with us, and if so what did they say? Yes, it was around 3 years ago. They just gave us a dead no.
Had you previously lost money to any resale companies or so called disposal services? If so please provide details. Not really, we had paid a company around a hundred pounds to advertise but then when we went on the website they had all 52 weeks of the year available-It was never going

How long did the process take from start to finish? Around 11 months - Ours took longer than usual as we wanted to wait until after our holiday to contact the Diamond Resorts, we didn't want to be bothered whilst we were away.
Why was it that you were originally looking to dispose of your timeshare? At our age we can't get reasonable travel insurance and no availability at UK resorts

Why was it that you were originally looking to dispose of your timeshare? Our situation had changed over the period of our ownership and we no longer wanted to keep paying the fees. Long term it was no longer viable, it's a shame the timeshare companies don't do anything to help the long term owners who no longer want their timeshares.
Had you spoken to your resort about cancelling your membership before dealing with us, and if so what did they say?es-They were just not interested all that happened is they put pressure on us to join their Infiniti points scheme at a cost of over five thousand pounds!- we had to keep this for ten years paying increased management fees and then they would permit us to walk away.
